Robber Robber

Support: Studio20 + bloodsports On their much-anticipated new album, Two Wheels Move the Soul, Robber Robber wade through the discomfort of class, upheaval, and catastrophe. Written across couches and attics following a landlord’s call to have founding members Nina Cates’s (vocals/guitar) and Zack James’s (percussion) longtime home demolished, the record wastes no time indulging in the miseries of late-stage capitalism, opting instead to resolve disaster with a cool composure. Still, an overwhelming sense of imminent disaster hangs over Two Wheels Move the Soul. Every scribble on the guitar thins the air, each stab of percussion and wave of distortion makes it that much harder to breathe.
