Bodega

Bodega is a NYC art rock band that formed in 2016 from the ashes of the trickster collective Bodega Bay (2013-2016). The band’s mantra is ‘the best critique is self-critique’ and their songs often employ sharp wit towards their own philosophical and political hypocrisies and blunders. Known for their unpredictable live shows, never playing the same setlist twice, the band employs philosophical and literary lyrics that search for the hidden influences behind everyday thought and behaviour. Their new album, All Inside Aquarium (released on October 9), draws on the late 80s / early 90s, channelling Stone Roses and Jane’s Addiction as key influences.
